Throughout our lives, we've often learned to suppress feelings like sadness, anger, or fear. We persevere, care for others, and ignore our body's signals. Sometimes we literally hold our breath to avoid feeling. Rebalancing invites you to deepen your breathing.
By gently focusing on what you experience in your body with your breathing and attention, space is created. Tension can soften and emotions stored in the body can reveal themselves. You don't have to do this alone: during a Rebalancing session you will be carefully and respectfully guided.
Being present means not having to fix or change anything for a moment, but simply observing what is there now. Using simple exercises, self-examination, or a body scan, you can learn to feel your body better and calm down. Being lovingly and nonjudgmentally present invites you to move from thinking to feeling.
This helps you detach from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You gain greater insight into patterns and habits you may have carried with you for years, but which no longer suit you. Many people experience greater clarity, gentleness towards themselves, and a deeper sense of connection as a result.
Respectful touch can be a direct path to relaxation. In Rebalancing, the body is touched carefully and mindfully. This creates a sense of safety and trust. In this relaxation, more than just the physical happens. Not only muscles and connective tissue are touched, but also you as a person.
Slow and respectful touch helps release stored tension and emotions in the body. This creates space and relaxation. You experience greater balance between body and mind. Touch supports your body's natural self-healing ability and helps you come home to yourself.
When appropriate, I combine Rebalancing with massage from a holistic perspective in a session. This is often experienced as pleasant and effective. I use various techniques, such as gentle and long strokes, deep tissue massage, stretches, or energetic techniques.
Massage also proves to be an accessible way to experience Rebalancing. You can book a holistic massage with me separately. The massage helps to release stress and to soften and renew your body. It also stimulates blood circulation and muscle and tissue recovery.
